Hustle (Series One and Two) Location

Conceived by writer Tony Jordan, Hustle followed a crew of con artists mainly based in London but also briefly took in other locations such as Birmingham in the UK and locations in the US.

The series took in some very striking locations giving the show a classy and glossy feel as well as visits to gritty sets when they delve into the criminal underworld.

Series One and Two follows the original team with Michael Stone a.k.a. Mickey Bricks (Adrian Lester), Danny Blue (Marc Warren), Stacie Monroe (Jaime Murray), Albert Stroller (Robert Vaughn) and Ash Morgan (Robert Glenister).

When Albert was caught cheating at a casino by the vicious Frank Gorley the Hustle crew decide to get revenge for putting him in hospital. Appearing in the episode Faking It in Series One the fictional casino is actually the National Liberal Club in the heart of London's Westend near the River Thames embankment. The location gives you excellent access to other London hotspots, Covent Garden, Houses of Parliament, The National Gallery and the London Eye wheel just to name a few.

Sneaking out of a hotel for paying the bill with a bent credit card! (St Alban's Court) Location

The final scene of series two, where the team have just pulled off the biggest con of their careers, are having to run from the hotel without paying the bill because Danny used a 'bent credit card'. The scene was filmed around St. Alban's Court, a small lane that runs under modern buildings within the heart of the financial district in the City of London. While the location only plays a small part in the series this location gives you the chance to explore the district and it's modern and historic architechure including The Bank of England and The Gherkin (St. Mary Axe).

The location is a short walk from the fictional "Lexington Hotel" location

The Lexington Hotel

30 Gresham Street, City of London | London | United Kingdom

The Lexington Hotel Location

The Hustle crew during this series lived at the fictional Lexington Hotel in London. All the exterior shots of the hotel, including the reception where the crew are arrested at the end of episode 6 for theft at the Guildhall Gallery, was filmed at number 30 Gresham Street in the financial district in the City of London.

While the building is in fact an office block rather than a hotel, this location gives you an excellent opportunity to explore the historic and modern district and may be a sneaky photo at the entrance to 'The Lexington'. If you visit during weekdays the area is likely to be bustling with business people and may be a few stock market traders while at the weekend the area is likely to be near deserted. The area is a small concentration of bars, restaurants, a selection of shops and gyms though we recommend a weekday for these as many close during the weekend when the workers have finished for the week.
